Psychological Skills Training (PST) has brought its self to the forefront in any sports training and is now starting to be recognized as one of the founding factors in training of any athletes or clients. The four most prominent methods used by athletes and pushed by coaches would be : Goal Setting , Self Talk , Mental Imagery and Mental rehearsal , and Relaxation. Studies and some coaches say that PST can attribute to 50-90% of the athletes performance.
